You’ve spent time and invested countless resources into making sure your workplace is set up for your team’s success.
But despite your best efforts, the new “healthy habits” initiatives never stick, and every year you spend more time, money and resources thinking of a new and improved way to help your team perform more optimally in every area of their work and personal lives…
But what if the solution is not another 10,000-step challenge or healthy communication workshop?
What if the real solution to cultivating a healthy work environment that is productive, enjoyable and thriving is to focus on building the singular skill that all other skills piggyback off of?
Enter Mental Fitness.
Once you build a company-wide culture that’s centered around the importance of Mental Fitness awareness, habits and everyday skills, you can then sit back and watch in amazement as every area of your workplace improves…
From daily peer-to-peer interactions, to productivity levels, to team engagement, and so much more.
In this training course, you’ll gain the knowledge, confidence and skills you need to create long-lasting culture change in the workplace.
Mental Fitness Teams are the leading way to a healthier, happier and more meaningful world.
L – Listen To Your People
When employees of an organization are surveyed on the likeability, trustability and effectiveness of their management team, high ratings are almost always associated with one singular trait… They listen to my concerns. We can’t always solve the problems of our employees. What we can do is provide a safe space for them to voice their concerns, and even better, to broach the topic of mental health and wellbeing as a group, well before anyone is struggling. In the first step of the L.E.A.D. model, you’ll learn the techniques and strategies that will allow you to listen to all your people so they feel genuinely heard, respected and valued.
E – Educate With Awareness & Resources
Educating your team with the proper awareness and resources can transform your workplace’s entire atmosphere and efficiency. But the method and language through which you hope to engage people are crucial for positive reception and acceptance from your team. So, in the second step of the L.E.A.D. model, you’ll learn the proper way to approach your team about mental health, without stigma or shame, so they’re more willing and able to adapt a company-wide culture of strong Mental Fitness habits.
A – Act With A Preventative Focus
In the third step of the L.E.A.D. model, you’ll learn how to set your team up for ultimate Mental Fitness success with the everyday actions and decisions you make as their leader and provide direct support. You’ll learn the how-to of properly structuring workflow, offering time off or flexibility, running more effective meetings, delegating tasks more efficiently, advocating upwards on behalf of your team and so much more…
D – Demonstrate Positive Habits
Building a company culture of mentally fit employees takes more than a one-off workshop or seminar. Long-lasting and sustainable change takes everyday demonstration of positive habits from the leaders and management team. You will learn how to lead by example by modeling your own healthy, sustainable habits that become a part of ‘how we do things around here.’ In the final step of the L.E.A.D. model, you’ll learn how to translate the knowledge, confidence and skills of Mental Fitness into everyday, real-life activities to help your entire team get on board with meaningful and sustainable change.
1. Understand the relationship and responsibilities between mental health, the workplace and employee performance. When you understand how employee performance is directly enhanced or diminished based on Mental Fitness levels, you’ll be better able to provide your team with the resources and support they need to function at their highest level.
2. Understand the role of a Mental Fitness Champion in the workplace. A Mental Fitness Champion’s role in the workplace is crucial to building a long-lasting cultural shift of strong mental health habits and values.
3. Understand how to articulate, implement and sustain a Mental Fitness team culture. You’ll learn how to translate the knowledge and skills you gain into real-life actionable steps so you can build a company-wide culture that’s centered around comfortable and candid mental health conversations.
4. Apply and share the L.E.A.D. model with teammates. Equip yourself with the resources and know-how you need to share this knowledge with every member of your team confidently, so they can confidently express their mental health needs and concerns.
5. Influence positive change within the organization. You’ll be able to properly identify the factors within your control that support and undermine your team’s mental health and wellbeing – so you can implement change that will have a long-lasting, positive influence on your company culture for years to come.

I thought I would share one piece of feedback that made it all worthwhile – “Attended the first session, and it was a great intro! Very difficult to find balance on a topic like mental health in a group (particularly of colleagues), and you did an excellent job at making that accessible.”
Kiane O’Farrell, HR Business Partner, Accent Group Limited
The course was fantastic and so very inspiring. The quality and relevance of the course content was excellent. The presentation of the course was amazing, honest and very user friendly. Overall, the course was very practical and important for my role.
Brenda Duggan, Educator
We recently partnered with Hadleigh for an initiative created to support employees affected by COVID-19. It was a course on how to strengthen Mental Fitness and optimism during this uncertain period we are facing. The feedback from the session was positive, and we look forward to holding more sessions in the future.

We offer courses in two formats.
Our open courses are open to the public, which we run at set times each month. These courses are ideal if you are an individual or small group looking to participate in our courses, become a Mental Fitness Champion, or try out our training before rolling it out at your workplace. Sign up on our Book a Course page.
Our private courses are for larger groups and organizations who might want a specific date and time for training or customized content. These courses are not open to the public and will only have selected participants enrolled. You can either sign up using our Book a Course page or you can contact us to discuss further details.
No! Most of our participants prefer to take Mental Fitness First Aid, followed by Mental Fitness Circuit, followed by Mental Fitness Teams to become a Certified Mental Fitness Champion. However, these three courses can be taken in any order so feel free to choose courses based on convenience and availability.
Individuals who sign up for multiple places for one of our courses (such as with friends, family, or workmates) may be eligible for a discount. We offer automatic discounts in our online booking process when you enrol 3, 5, or 10 people in an open course.
Organizations who would like to have employees complete our training are able to receive discounts depending on how many people sign up, how many courses or certificates you run, and other services you may engage Mental Fitness Hub for.
If you would like to discuss registering for a course through a payment plan or pay by invoice, please reach out to us.

That’s great! Our training has a few key differences which we’d love to share with you.
First, our training is more focused on everyday life challenges and supporting people with common everyday mental health challenges rather than focusing mainly on uncommon crisis situations.
Secondly, our training is designed for the 21st-century environment. We can’t always physically be with the person we are providing support to. That’s why we focus on the ins and outs of what it means to have important mental health conversations over Whatsapp, text, email, social media or video-call.
Thirdly, our training focuses more on recovery and practical support than other training programs. Often, it’s simply not practical or advisable to simply say: “see your doctor” and leave people to fend for themselves in an expensive and overburdened sick-care system.
Our Mental Fitness First Aid Course is an excellent proactive refresher to people with existing training, or makes an ideal base level of knowledge before tackling our other courses such as Mental Fitness Circuit and Mental Fitness Teams.
If you’re someone who wants to take action on mental health at home or at work, but aren’t sure how, then this course is for you.
If you’re someone who wants to be more proactive rather than reactive about mental health, then this course is for you.
If you’re looking for ways to inspire people with practical tools to support mental health and wellbeing, without stigma, this course is for you.
Mental Fitness Hub online mental health training is ideal for workplaces, schools and community groups that want to do more to support employee mental health, and to take action in a more proactive and preventative way.
Our online training is enjoyed by team leaders, line managers, supervisors, new starters, teachers and principals, sports club coaches and support staff, as well as individuals who simply want to be more knowledgeable about mental health, and equipped with the skills to make a difference.
Anyone who cares about good mental health and wellbeing can become a Certified Mental Fitness Champion.
Absolutely. One of the things we wanted to improve was the support and reference tools for Champions when they face difficult or uncertain situations. All Certified Mental Fitness Champions as well as participants in individual courses will have ongoing access to the online Mental Fitness Resource Library.
First, there is our online Mental Fitness Resource Library with articles, worksheets, videos and case studies of how to approach various situations.
Secondly, there is our online community, where our team and experienced Mental Fitness Champions provide support and coaching through difficult situations.
Finally, we are building a range of digital services, apps and other ways to support people as they support others, support themselves, and support their teams.
Unfortunately not.
Whilst completing one of our three training courses individually gives you relevant and practical knowledge and skills, becoming a Certified Mental Fitness Champion requires completing all three courses.
You can complete one course and do the remaining two later, as long as you complete the remaining courses within one year of completing your first course.
For individuals, you can register for one of our open public courses easily through our online booking system and choose the time slot that fits your schedule. To register, click here.
For groups and organizations, you have the option to register for one of our open public courses by registering all participants during the booking process, or feel free to contact us and book a private session at a time and date that works for you.
Once you have completed the three courses and associated course requirements, you will be issued your Certified Mental Fitness Champion Certificate and have the right to use the Certified Mental Fitness Champion Badge in all digital communications.
Yes – within reason.
Although not ideal that you won’t be completing your course with the same cohort of people, we can accommodate you in alternative courses if you contact us.
Great question. This is the paradigm shift in workplace mental health awareness that makes Mental Fitness so inspiring and valuable. While it’s likely that a number of employees are potentially struggling in silence, it’s also important to engage people to understand mental health when they don’t feel like it’s a problem.
In fact, the best time to work on your fitness is when you’re feeling good, so you can build and protect your psychological and emotional resources for the future.
Absolutely not! You will not be learning the “power of positive thinking,” how to “manifest your dreams” or “balance your chakras.” Everything we do at Mental Fitness Hub is evidence-based, meaning that we only use credible scientific research to support our courses. You will never find self-help content or unproven “good ideas” here. We are a team of scientists, and we only recommend things that have been shown to work through rigorous academic research.
All Mental Fitness Hub trainers are experienced Mental Fitness presenters, psychologists, trainers and coaches with a solid understanding of mental health and Mental Fitness. In fact, many of our trainers have formal qualifications in psychology, mental health and Mental Fitness. Every trainer is required to complete our Mental Fitness Hub Trainer Program where we evaluate their knowledge and presentation skills to ensure that they meet our rigorous standards.
Congratulations! You’ll be leading the way for real and lasting mental health change.
